Learning to love the skin you are in takes true work and determination to master. And learning how to properly take care of your skin is at the top of everyone’s list. Over the years, I have experimented with different skincare products to create a skincare routine that nourishes my skin the best. I learned that different products work better for different skin types, and you must listen to your skin to know which products are working. Let me tel you how to create a skincare routine that works for YOUR skin. 

Different Skin Types

Before you start purchasing products and trying to see if they work for your skin type, lets first find out what your skin type is:

If you have:

Dry Skin: Your skin appears dull and ashy. Your skin will feel tight, look dehydrated and your fine lines appear more on your face.

Oily Skin: Your skin appears more shiny and your pores are more visible. Your skin is more prone to breakouts especially in the summer because the heat causes your oil production to increase.

Combination Skin: Your skin appears more shiny in your T-zone (nose, forehead and chin) and your cheeks look dehydrated. Your skin is prone to breakout in the summer because the heat causes your oil production to increase.

Sensitive Skin: Your skin will become red, itchy, dry or will start to burn when it comes in contact with ingredients that aren’t good for your skin. Also your skin can be affected by environment environment and artificial ingredients.

Normal Skin: Your skin is not too oily or dry. Your skin has no or few imperfections.
